By downloading, installing, or using the SemtEra mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the SemtEra development team ("SemtEra", "we", "us", or "our"). We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

SemtEra offers three membership tiers:

Auto-Renewal Disclosure: Paid subscriptions (Planner and Organizer) automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.
Where available, free trial subscriptions will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial expires.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of price changes before they take effect and may cancel your subscription if you do not agree to the new price.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. SemtEra does not have access to your payment information. For billing issues, contact Apple Support.
You agree not to use SemtEra to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to SemtEra (posts, photos, stories, event descriptions, messages).
By uploading content, you grant SemtEra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your public content within the App and for App marketing purposes (e.g., app store screenshots, promotional materials).
You represent and warrant that:
If you create events on SemtEra (available on Planner and Organizer plans), you agree to:
SemtEra is a platform and is not responsible for any incidents that occur at events organized by users.
The Hidden Chats feature allows you to protect specific conversations with a password and Face ID/Touch ID authentication. Important notice:
SemtEra's chat features utilize third-party artificial intelligence services. By using the chat functionality, you acknowledge and consent that chat message content may be processed by third-party AI service providers. While we take security measures to protect your data, you should not share sensitive personal or confidential information through the chat features.
SemtEra uses your device's GPS location to provide core functionality (nearby event discovery, map view). By granting location permission, you consent to the collection and use of your location data as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke location permission at any time through iOS Settings, but this will limit core app functionality.
The SemtEra name, logo, app design, features, and code are the intellectual property of SemtEra and its developers. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on SemtEra's proprietary content without express written permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time through Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SEMTERA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR EVENTS ORGANIZED THROUGH THE APP.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SemtEra shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the App. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
